The location was excellent, making it easy to
explore all that Tokyo has to offer. However, the room was quite small and had a strong cigarette smell. The friendly staff made our stay enjoyable, but the noise from the street could be bothersome at night.

I loved the traditional Japanese bath in the room and the delicious breakfast buffet with fresh fish and tamago. The little bakery next door was a delightful bonus!

A friendly staff with challenges
Woke up every morning greeted by the warm smiles of the staff. They truly went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable, despite some hurdles.
However, the room cleanliness was hit or miss, and I faced issues with the laundry facility which left me frustrated. Not what I expected for the price paid.

ideal base for exploring shinjuku's parks and vibrant streets
I loved how easy it was to stroll to nearby shinjuku gyoen national garden, only about 15 minutes away, and that the bustling shinjuku golden gai theater was practically right around the corner, making my evening walks so enjoyable. the breakfast was a delightful start to my days with plenty of delicious buffet options to choose from. as a single traveler, i appreciated having friendly staff around to help with my needs, but there could be improvements in maintaining consistent internet access in the rooms.

Had an awesome time with friends! We explored Harajuku and Shibuya — such fun walks! The breakfast was a highlight, with a great selection including miso soup and tamago. Plus, the staff were super polite. Just a heads up, the rooms have limited surface space, but we managed just fine. Definitely a solid choice for groups!
One downside was the bathroom. while it had great amenities, we found the surface space lacking for our belongings.

The corner twin room was surprisingly spacious, offering good value given the Shinjuku area. Staff were friendly, always attempting to help with a smile. The breakfast buffet featured delicious options like croissants and traditional Japanese dishes. However, the firm bed might not suit everyone, and shelf space was quite limited, making it a bit challenging to unpack. Communication was seamless, and the overall atmosphere remained inviting despite these minor drawbacks.

Location is perfect, a quick walk to the subway. Room space felt cramped, especially in the bathroom. Loved the bakery nearby for breakfast. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Also, enjoyed the bicycle rental option to explore the area.

I enjoyed my stay at Sunlite Shinjuku. The location is perfect, just a quick 5-minute walk from Shinjuku-Sanchome station. Convenience stores are nearby, making it easy to grab snacks. The bed was super comfy and the staff were accommodating, even with my late arrival. I appreciated the complimentary items in the bathroom like razors and dental sets. However, I found the room to be quite small with limited surface space for my belongings, which could be a downside for someone expecting more room. Also, some furnishings felt a bit outdated, and the air conditioning didn't get as cool as I would have liked. Despite some minor issues, I still had a great time exploring the area.
